“I’m thrilled to join Dorsey’s robust international platform and its growing Capital Markets practice”
Dorsey & Whitney LLP has announced the appointment of Rachel Han as a Partner in the Capital Markets group at its Hong Kong office. With over a decade of experience in capital markets transactions, including IPOs, follow-on offerings, secondary offerings, and public company compliance, Han brings a wealth of expertise to the firm.
Janet Wong, Head of Dorsey’s Hong Kong office, expressed enthusiasm about Han’s arrival. “Rachel has over a decade of experience representing China-based companies and underwriters in capital markets transactions. We are thrilled that Rachel is joining our office and bringing her wealth of experience, further strengthening our strategic international capabilities.”
Han’s practice at Dorsey will focus on equity capital markets, corporate finance, and mergers and acquisitions, along with general commercial work. She has worked with clients across various industries, including consumer, infrastructure and construction, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, automotive, renewable energy, investment, and financial services. Before joining Dorsey, Han was a partner at Dentons Hong Kong.
Her appointment enhances Dorsey’s U.S.-China practice and bolsters the firm’s existing capital markets practices in the U.S. and Hong Kong. Han will work alongside bilingual equity capital markets lawyers Megan Penick and Jia Song in Dorsey’s New York office and Jason Lin in the Beijing office, providing bilingual and bicultural services to Asia-based clients seeking access to U.S. and Hong Kong capital markets.
